The Icon at Riviera

The Pyramid at Riviera is the iconic heart of Bastian’s riverside destination in Morjim, Goa—a sculpted restaurant and beach club that becomes the resort’s most recognisable silhouette. Set on the edge of the Chapora backwaters, the glass-and-frame pyramid rises from an artificial beach and timber decks, reading as a glowing pavilion by night and a light-filled, breezy volume by day.​

Interior Volume and Bar

Inside, a tall, column-free volume holds the main dining room, where the roof geometry unfolds into a dramatic ceiling softened by warm lighting and layered fabrics. A central bar anchors the plan, with indoor tables and outdoor terraces radiating towards the river so guests can drift easily between shaded dining, sunlit decks, and the water’s edge.​

Materiality and Views

Materials balance glamour and ease—textured plasters, timber, rattan, and soft upholstery—designed for bare feet, resort wear, and late-night celebrations alike. Large openings frame uninterrupted views of the backwaters, keeping the river visually present from every seat while allowing breeze, music, and the glow of sunset to wash through the space.​

Beach Club Amphitheatre

Around the Pyramid, sand pockets, loungers, cabanas, and low platforms create a casual amphitheatre facing the river and sky. By day, the setting works as a relaxed beach club; by evening, it shifts into an intimate, high-energy venue with music, lighting, and fire features choreographed around the central pavilion.​
