Our process of in Architecture
Our Process
Our process in Architectural projects involves detailed analysis of the project and mapping stakeholders. We understand the client’s budget and time constraints. Based on these and the nature of the brief we apply design thinking exercises to work out solutions. The project is divided into 4 parts Schematic Design, Concept Design, Design Development, and Good for Construction drawings and their evolution.
Design Thinking
Why is it important to build this building? What kind of materials should we use? How should we raise funding for the project if the budgets are insufficient. How to divide the project into phases? What kind of image will the project put in public? We find that more often than not – these are the questions that make or break a project.

Drawings
Models
We love making models by hand. Come to the studio – and you will see the number of models we make – we make laser cut models, 3d printed models. We also love digital modeling.
Mock ups
Our process of in Interior
Lighting Design
Bad lighting design kills a project. Just like terrible cinematography can kill the story of a movie. You get the point! elements - is so that the whole design and construction team are aligned to the final outcome.
Material explorations
The act of finishing the interiors of a space involves designing and selecting materials for all the surfaces. We are constantly exploring the use of newer materials. We are also conscious of the environmental damage caused by some of the materials and are working on a calculation system for carbon efficiency for an interior design project.
Drawings
Nothing is perfect unless it is seen and accepted by the Human eye. Our insistence for mockups of design elements - is so that the whole design and construction team are aligned to the final outcome.
Design thinking Concept
Design thinking for interiors is often pressing questions about program and circulation. Budgets and costing and people - everything is listed and discussed and worked out.

Research
Not every research project has to be a pinterest presentation. Real world research - with relevant questions often saves costs later on.

Our process IN Multimedia Design
Khirkee 2027 (Shown at Southbank Show London)
“Khirkee 2027” a Digital Media Installation – is perceived through the lens of a girl, a migrant. There are no guns; instead there are questions – of identity, of racial politics and gender.
The project tries to deal with a selective issues facing Khirkee like
- The identity issues of second generation migrants - who have been born and brought up in India.
- The cultural context of the neighborhood of Khirkee. This includes the Heritage structures and the new Malls that coexist with Migrant Housing and Hospitals.
The game starts in 2027 – where the player wanders seeing Khirkee through the lens of the main protagonist, a girl, a second generation migrant/refugee, a victim of racial tensions. The project uses the landscape of Khirkee 2027 as a narrative device – like a cross between a graphic novel and game. It operates like a controllable cinematic experience – based on the player’s wanderings – the landscape narrates stories. During the wanderings you may come across the Home of the girl, parts of the neighborhood she frequented and if lucky the people she loved most.
